​​​​​​​​​​​Lany & Jordie, two West coast girls hailing from California & Washington, somehow found themselves on the East coast at Middlebury College in Vermont. They both yearned to see the other side, to live as far from home on the continental U.S. as possible, & to venture out and find new experiences.

​

As the years passed, they remained mere acquaintances--their united passions unbeknownst--until one January day in 2011 when they found themselves, and each other, in the "piccola" town of Ferrara, Italy studying abroad. They bonded immediately over a mutual obsession of food & culture, a closet love of J.R.R. Tolkien & Ursula K. LeGuin, an adoration of dogs & nature, and above all, their innate desire to wander the depths of the earth.

Together, they embarked on spontaneous adventures, collecting incredible stories & exploring multiple continents with nothing but journals & the packs on their backs. This sparked in them an itching passion to travel, meet people, and collect stories. They constantly conjure up never-ending lists of creative projects and innovative ideas. Everything seems possible when they are together.

Little did they know that after that fateful day of meeting, their lives would never be the same again...
